The Homeless Entrepreneur: Suitcase to Briefcase training program is sponsoring a Start-Up Entrepreneur: Rewire Your Brain seminar for our graduates and for Community Investment Collaborative (CIC in Charlottesville VA) and UVA Darden and iLab student entrepreneurs Saturday Jan 28th. We still have a limited number of spots available for a unique event that Becky Blanton and David Durovy, Founders of The Homeless Entrepreneur and Dr. Jerry Teplitz, are co-sponsoring.
If you have Sat. available, are local to Charlottesville VA and would like to join us, please let me know asap — first come first serve — and I will reserve a spot for you. This is a very different type of training and we’d love to have any of you join us to grab a remaining seat. It will be recorded and released as a DVD training program so we would need a photo release from you. — Discover What No Other Training Has Taught: Achieve New Levels of Success — All It Takes is Rewiring Your Brain! The Switched-On Start-Up Entrepreneur Seminar is revolutionary because not a single technique for being a start-up entrepreneur is taught during the entire seminar.
Instead, participants learn a system of easy movements and exercises called Brain Gym®. These exercises are specifically targeted to ‘switch on’ communication between your left and right brain hemispheres. And when you ‘switch on’ communication in your brain, you achieve new levels of energy to achieve peak performance as an entrepreneur. It is a research-validated training.
The materials in the seminar are based on the over twenty research studies that Dr. Jerry V.Teplitz has done on the Switched-On Seminars — Selling, Management and Network Marketing Seminars. To read more about this seminar, you can view the brochure. This event will have mix of entrepreneurial talent from Community Investment Collaborative, Darden iLab, graduates of the first Homeless Entrepreneur 8 week Training class and will be recorded for release as a DVD training product. Date: January 28, 2017 | Location: Charlottesville VA | Time: 9 am – 6 pm CNE (Center for Non-Profit Excellence) 1701 #A Allied St. [behind Cville Coffee]).
About The Homeless Entrepreneur: Suitcase to Briefcase Program pilot project is an 8-week program designed: 1) To give motivated people (who are currently homeless, or at high risk for becoming homeless, and who are unemployed or underemployed) an opportunity to start their own business and get off of the streets, out of the shelters and out of their vehicles; 2) Change the way the public thinks of homeless people; 3) Change the way homeless people think of themselves.
Not every homeless person wants a handout. Many just want help and a hand up to get back on their feet. This program is for those individuals or families who are motivated to take responsibility for themselves and pursue an 8-week course that will help them start their own business for little ($50) to no money. The program is based on Author and former homeless woman Becky Blanton’s book The Homeless Entrepreneur.
